Here is a selection from a series of portraits that I took for Matt Diffee's book, "The Rejection Collection". The book consists of cartoons by New Yorker cartoonists that were rejected by the magazine, most often because they were too dirty. Diffee and I ran all over the place taking the pictures, from the office of The New Yorker to the parking lot of the Philadelphia airport, and, needless to say, it was a blast.
